House of Lux- Season two

I was delighted to be invited to attend the beauty and fashion event of the year, the LUX beauty gallery. An annual event where Lux organize a fashion designing competition through its Facebook, where thousands of Lux fans on Facebook applied their sketches for a chance to be chosen as a candidate for the competition, from those thousands, only ten were chose from all over the region to compete against each other and learn from each other and from Lux's monitors and brand ambassadors, the great Lebanese designer Mr. Abed Mahfouz, a haute couturieur who has dressed a lot of celebrities locally and international, Alanoud Badr, the most famous Saudi fashion blogger and the new to the compeition this year Miss Dana Hamdan, TV presenter, stylist and the sister of the two celebrities sister Mais and Mai Hamadan.
For few months candidates were monitored by the fashion trio whom have helped them and lead them on transfering their sketched dream dress into reality, inspired by LUX newest collection's different characters. Each participatnt chose a character to get her inspiration from.
I flew over from Jeddah to Dubai, to the address hotel Dubai Marina, to witness the crowning of the winner. It was a night to remember, I had the chance to meet amazing people such as Designer Abed Mahfouz and personally interview him, the sweetheart Anoud, a lot of media and some celebrities. The event was presented by ex Miss Lebanon candidate and MBC presenter Aline Watfa. Each participant had her time to expain the details of her dress and how she was inspired to do it, the judges asked their questions and made their decision. They picked two winners Bissan Abu Zainab and Hanaa Iskandar who both won 100,000 Derhams wohoooooo, Congratulation for both of the girls.Before the winners were picked there was Abed Mahfouz Fall/Winter 2014 fashion show, where we got the chance to see some of the beautiful dresses that Mr..Abed showcased in Paris early this year. It was a mesmerizing collection that left the audience breathless for the whole night
