Last Monday we headed to the somehow new Cairo Festival Mall to attend the opening of the Femi9 latest store, we were welcomed by an original orange carpet, rather than the traditional red carpet, as the orange is Femi9's theme color. We were invited to the private VIP event, then afterwards the store was open publicly. As we entered the shop a huge candy bar with popcakes and cupcakes by tortina was waiting for us. Having a walk around the shop, the trendy colours for this season as pastel colours and monochrome were all present. Long dresses and après-midi retained my attention and the perfect wide pants legs were also here.
We were seated to enjoy a mini trunk show and some fresh vibes of the Dj. The trunk show was lead by four of Egypt's top models, including Tara Emad, and former Miss Egypt Miriam George, and was styled by Maissa Azab. A beautiful touch to the event was a caricaturist made a funny portrait of the crowd. We had the pleasure meet our friend and femi9 's Jeddah based designer Yossra Ifoui.
