Splurge Vs. Save

Why spend thousand on buying foreign brands, when you can save and buy almost the same things or somehow similar from authentic and original local Egyptian brands and products. Come on boost our economy and buy Egyptian products.

Celine Vs Nuniz

 Celine Boston Bag = Approx. 17,000 L.E

Vs

 Nuniz Viv tote = 1450 L.E

China Glaze Vs Luna

I searched for this Tiffany blue colour a lot and I only liked two, the China Glaze and the Luna one. Although you need 3 coats of Luna for the colour to be opaque it is still a good product.

China Glaze = Approx. 90 L.E
Vs
Luna nail polish = 16 L.E

Cambridge Satchel Company Vs Dokanty Satchel
Cambridge Satchel = Approx. 1200 L.E
 Vs
Dokanty Satchel = 200 L.E

YSL Vs Dina Maghawry

I had a hate/love/hate relationship with the YSL ring, first time I saw it I felt it's a bit ugly, then when I saw the huge number of fashionistas wearing it, I felt the urge to get it, and to be honest I found a reasonably priced one at Ego store, but then again when I saw that  a lot of girl wearing the fake ones, I became not interested again. On the other hand, I love love love the Dina Maghawry rings, although there is almost no resemblance, but still both rings are statement ones.

YSL ring = 1600 L.E

Dina Maghawry = 900 L.E
Clinique Vs The Egyptian Herbalists

a rose water bottle is available at any herbalist or big supermarket, it has pretty much has the same effect as toners, although I prefer the Clinique toner number 2 as it's hypo allergic, but still rose water is a great ay to save if you have normal skin type and use toner on daily basis.
Clinique Toner = 170 L.E

Rose water bottle = 10 L.E from any herbalist.

Lacoste Vs The Egyptian Bata
 " Just Kidding"
No it's not the french shoeswear store Bata, I am talking the old Egyptian Bata store in Attaba hehe. It's the number 1 choice for ost factory workers and nurses as it's supposed to be comfy and so damn cheap. and they have a website too, how cool is that ? LOL http://www.bataegypt.com/Products.aspx
Lacoste Tennis Shoes = more than 1200 L.E

 Bata Shoes = 30 L.

    1. Dina's ring is way better, and the handbag is genuine leather and you won't find anything this size and geninune leather international brand with this price at all, what I meant by this post is to support the local talents and yes instead of getting things from abroad we can get similar things here, and by the way if we have this feeling that the money will go to the designer's pockets, el balad 3omrha mahat2om, kol haga han2ol keda, we have to support the local industry and they do hire and pay for local worker and help them, right ?

yeah of course Bata's the french well known brand, and I know their branches of course. but this is about Bata the old Egyptian brand, in Attaba, and as I used to work in factories as a pharmacist I saw all the workers getting it as it cheap and comfortable to them, and I was kidding about it
