Azza Fahmy Exclusive Preview.

We had the chance to attend an exclusive private preview for Azza fahmy 2014 Collection designed by Amina Ghali. We tried on our favorite pieces from the collection they all are absolutely gorgeous and will definitely add a lot to any of your outfits.
We had the pleasure to talk with Amina, about how she began this adventure. You might think because she is Azza Fahmy’s daughter all the doors were open to her, but no. Amina began from the bottom because her mom wanted her to be introduced to the industry in a professional way. Amina went to London to study jewelry design. Coming back home she was very inspired by this contemporary world and wanted to integrate this to their lines.
This collection was inspired by the countries she visited and their architecture. You can feel all the lines mixing occidental and eastern cultures.
Amina said that her biggest recognition is too see someone wearing from her piece or recognize that she is the designer. At Azza Fahmy they are all working in a team in a parallel by understanding each other task, this is what makes the success.

Sneak Peek from aennis eunis SS13

Two days ago I was thrilled to open my email to find a sneak peek from the great Arab shoes and bags designer aennis eunis's latest collection. If you are an old follower to me on twitter (@nooun) you would have known how much I was obsessed about a certain pair of aennis eunis shoes that I tried on last year in Dubai at saks, I was like tweeting every minute about it. Seeing the sneak peek from the coming collection, which will be released by the beginning of the new year, made me so eager to go to check the collection myself when I will be in Dubai next month,  and blog about it live, at the newly opened Level store in Dubai Mall.

What's in her bag ?! and a quick Interview with Dana Malhas

Whenever I am in Jeddah,  This scenario takes place over and over;
My husband: where are we going?
Me: Stars Avenue Mall.
My Husband: Why again? we were just there.
Me: I want to go to Cream Boutique.
My Husband: Noha, You were just there.
Me: It's not my problem that they update there collection almost every couple of days, I don't want to miss a thing.
Yeah that's how much I love shopping at Cream, this trendy boutique happens to collect unique and novel pieces from all over the world. and for me nothing is more fun than shopping for unique stuff, that I will know by wearing them I will standout. I know a lot of Egyptians and Arabs in general pass by Jeddah, in their way to preform Umrah, so ladies remember Cream Boutique is a must visit.
I met Dana Malhas, the beautiful owner of Cream at some fashionable events, and now I got the chance to ask her very few questions and got to know what's inside her bag.

Dana us more about Dana :)
I am Saudi/Palestinian. 25 Years old. Born & raised in Jeddah. Studied Marketing & advertising at the American University in Beirut. I Just got married and moved to Dubai. I travel with at least 21 pairs of shoes, my favorite color is green, I am a perfectionist, I have the worst bird phobia in the world, I love swimming and hate skiing, I believe I can be whatever I make up my mind to be, I eat a lot of chocolate, When I am getting dressed I start by choosing my shoes first, I love my job, and finally..my family is my life!  :)

 How did you start cream?
Like most girls, I am obsessed with fashion and everything related to it...especially styling & buying! When I graduated from university, I was 22 years old, and I decided to turn this passion into a business. I decided to open a store, where I can buy everything I like as I travel the world, style it the way I want, and fill in this gap in the market of "up and coming designers" as the market was saturated with either high or low end brands, nothing in between. I decided to take this opportunity and open a lifestyle store where up and coming designers from all around the world meet, a boutique that has everything a girl needs, a place that has talented designers regardless of their age or nationality..and the best part is, I buy for my store, like I buy for my closet!
Cream Jeddah
What brands does Cream carry?
CREAM has over 60 brands from all around the world, starting with Paris & New York and ending with Lebanon & Saudi. Some of the many are Manoush, American Retro, Mawi, Lady Fozaza, Aila,  Leivankash, Essa, CC skye, Eyedoll, Parker, Lyalya, Loodyana, LUM & many many more.

Future plans for Cream?
"Thankfully, cream has now become a trendsetter in Jeddah. My plan is to hopefully establish Cream as a trendsetter in the Middle East"

Dana

What is inside your everyday bag, Dana?
Surprisingly to many, my everyday bag (Celine Boston)  is really simple. Should be light and easy to carry, and has only the necessities that I need. It's like my survival kit.

Basic make-up bag for during the day touch ups.

I'm very old school when it comes down to writing things, I prefer a paper and a pen over a million iPads. I always need my Agenda to remember my meetings and my post it to remember my to do lists. And of course business cards are a must.
I am the most unhealthy person in this world, so I try to balance out my bad food habits with easy to take vitamin pills. And apparently cranberry is super important, so I try to commit to it everyday.
The smallest yet most practical wallet in the world! Fits money, cards, and IDs (again necessities only), does not take space in my bag, and so easy to pick and drop when changing handbags.
My daily dose of chocolate! I go through phases, I was addicted to flake, then to kit kat, and now Patchi.."two with nuts and one with biscuit".
I am always cold! Cannot leave the house without this scarf..need something to keep me warm in the freezing malls and restaurants of beautiful Dubai.

I also have good new!! my niche brand Double Nooun will be available very soon at Cream Boutique, at Stars Avenue Mall, in Al Malik Road, Jeddah. KSA

Vintage Reconstructed

Maha Abdul Rasheed, the owner of Bambah Boutique is a twenty six year old young lady who has a passion for vintage. She is a marketer by profession (BSc in Business Administration,Marketing and Management major at the American University of Sharjah) and hasgrown up with a very high entrepreneurial spirit. The Egyptian girl who has been living in Dubai for almost 15 years now, has had the chance to visit numerous countries around the world, landing on almost all continents. She started her career in a leading
advertising agency where she got a better understanding of building and managing brands followed by a position in Marketing & Corporate Communications in a semi-government entity. Souad Hosny and Jean Patchett are her ultimate style icons and she has a soft spot for ruffles, bows, and polka dots.

Maha has been awarded the Emirates Woman of the Year Award as part of the Visionaries Category and Bambah/TheZoo has been awarded the ‘Best Boutique’Category as part of the Grazia Style Awards.

If you are at Dubai  next Wednesday, make sure to pass by Bambah boutique to view the newest collection of vintage reconstructed. unfortunately I am not in Dubai this time to attend such fashionable and fun event.

The bold aesthetic of this season’s Vintage Reconstructed collection combines the current runway and
high street trend toward rugged street style–such as military wear, and oversized and distressed denim–and
cleverly blends it with vintage. This innovative combination creates a comfortable, casual and extremely
personal look that Maha feels will resonate with young Middle Eastern women. “Dubai and Middle Eastern
fashionistas are also stepping outside their comfort zones with fashion and are experimenting more with
trends and styles,” Maha says. “They are no longer fully satisfied by designer and contemporary designs
and are always on the lookout for a unique addition to their outfit that makes them stand out.”

The hip yet versatile collection of shirts, bottoms and jackets are truly distinctive, the label having already
garnered accolades from the likes of Grazia, Harper’s Bazaar, Emirates Woman, Conde Nast Traveller and
The National. Whether it be the intrigue of an asymmetrical hemline, the bright flash of studs sprinkled
whimsically across the shoulders or the unexpected fade of ombre, each piece from Vintage Reconstructed
is bursting with individuality, confidence and timeless style.
