 Maha Abdul Rasheed, the owner of Bambah Boutique is a twenty six year old young lady who has a passion for vintage. She is a marketer by profession (BSc in Business Administration,Marketing and Management major at the American University of Sharjah) and hasgrown up with a very high entrepreneurial spirit. The Egyptian girl who has been living in Dubai for almost 15 years now, has had the chance to visit numerous countries around the world, landing on almost all continents. She started her career in a leading
advertising agency where she got a better understanding of building and managing brands followed by a position in Marketing & Corporate Communications in a semi-government entity. Souad Hosny and Jean Patchett are her ultimate style icons and she has a soft spot for ruffles, bows, and polka dots.

Maha has been awarded the Emirates Woman of the Year Award as part of the Visionaries Category and Bambah/TheZoo has been awarded the ‘Best Boutique’Category as part of the Grazia Style Awards.

The bold aesthetic of this season’s Vintage Reconstructed collection combines the current runway and
high street trend toward rugged street style–such as military wear, and oversized and distressed denim–and
cleverly blends it with vintage. This innovative combination creates a comfortable, casual and extremely
personal look that Maha feels will resonate with young Middle Eastern women. “Dubai and Middle Eastern
fashionistas are also stepping outside their comfort zones with fashion and are experimenting more with
trends and styles,” Maha says. “They are no longer fully satisfied by designer and contemporary designs
and are always on the lookout for a unique addition to their outfit that makes them stand out.”
