Poca and Poca Fall winter collection

Poca and Poca is a brand  from Poland, I learned about in 2012 through other blogs, and then I traced it down, and found that they have an outlet in Galleries Lafayette in Dubai Mall, As soon as I saw their display I fall in love, I knew I won't go out with empty hands, and I quickly picked one of their most famous designs till our day, the winged black jumpsuit as I like to call it. I remember going after to a fashion show in Dubai and having everyone stopping me to ask about the brand, and magazines photographers chasing me to take my photo. Yes this how special the outfit was.

For this season Poca and Poca came out with a unique campaign (Bubbles and Bubbles), I love how naughty and colorful their campaigns are, and how every time you buy something from them they shower you with small trinkets and chocolates ah and bubble soap :)
Dominating colours for this collection are pastel yellow, vibrant green and pink, and by the way Pink so trending this summer, you can see it every where, that why I am so happy because of course you know this is my fav. colour for everything.

The cuts of Poca and Poca are like no other so unique and structured, it like you are wearing a geometric design that is fitting perfectly to your body. also what I love about the fabric for this fall winter collection is they do look light, but they are so suitable for cold weather as well.

I choose from this collection the Pink puffy top (photo down) which I paired with a light weigh white trousers and wore it on my trip to discover the royal palace in Thailand. I swear to God again people stopped from different countries to ask me about my top, to an extent a sweet Danish girl was with me on the tour, she came up right to me and told me can I see the brand tag :)
Their pieces are so unique you can wear in a special occasion or if you have an important outing and want to stand out.

I am sharing with you my favourite looks from the current collection, follow them on Instagram: PocaandPoca and check it regularly because they always have giveaways and competition and they giveaway a whole outfit.

Also you can find them in Galleries Lafayette Dubai Mall, and Panorama Mall in Riyadh. And of course they ship worldwide for low cost shipping check www.pocaandpoca.com

Splash Fashion Xcess

Last week I flew to Dubai specially to attend Splash fashion show, and as you all know Splash is One of the biggest retailers for affordable clothes in the Middle East.
Titled ‘Splash Fashion Xcess’, the Summer 2016 fashion show brought together color, embellishments, textures  topped with  grunge inspiration.
With two sub stories- Mod Maximalism and Grunge Maximalism taking centre stage, a little bit of everything seems just about the right way to enter the season. What you get in the collection is a modern hybrid between neat designs with a maximalist edge.

The event was held at the Asateer hall, Atlantis, the guests were welcomed into a pre-function area which was nothing short of a feast to the senses. A walk through the tunnel with multicolored heart facets, one was immediately transported to an eclectic dimension. Adorned with mirrors and raw bulbs on either side, the replication of things exemplified the Maximalism theme. The pre-party zone complete with archways and elements inspired by the grunge culture like metal chains set the mood for the show .The energy was palpable with trap and dub step tunes creating an electric ambiance. Making way into the runway dotted with LED screens, one was able to get a glimpse of the theme through a lucid graphic display.
I was lucky enough to made it to the behind the scenes and had a glimpse of the hair and makeup before the show. The makeup was bold and daring with dark lips, and hair was funky hippy big hair more of the punk style.

After the Show I was able to talk to with Mr. Raza Beige, the founder and owner of Splash, and what a humble lovely and hospitable man he is. He told me when I was a young man, I didn't have a lot of money, and I always wanted to wear and look nice. So when I started the Splash group I wanted to create fashion for everyone, you see splash is the destination for all ages and categories to shop the latest trends at the most affordable prices in the market. If you are on budget then it is the right place for you, and if you are so into fashion and love to wear high end brands, you will still love to shop at Splash for a special piece to complete their outfits, or for comfortable clothes that they can even wear at home.

The two dominant trends featured at Summer ’16 fashion Show were as I mentioned the Mod Maximalism Catering to a set of sophisticated individuals this collection comprises of tailored and oversized silhouettes with fabrics like linen, denim, and cotton key pieces including  suits, distressed denim, and long tees, with a big range of colours from soft pastels to really dark shades. While the Grunge Maximalism is more of embellishments bikers and studs, suits sets, skater skirts and asymmetric dresses with eyelet details.

The collection presented on the runway will be available from 15th of April in stores while most looks from the catwalk will be available on www.landmarkshops.com/splash. You can revisit moments from the show visiting our Splash Facebook page- Splash Fashions.

A day well spent at Fendi's

Every season there would be an it bag that turns the fashionable ladies crazy, and you would see all over the internet and the fashion magazine, but for the last two season and the coming ones, it has been all about the It brand. Fendi has successfully won this title over and over again, their latest collections are beyond creative, they keep on surprising the market with unbelievable ideas, and unique ways to play with accessories in ways you could never imagine.

Upon walking into their showrooms, you will be bombarded with a festive of colours. I love everything about the new collections from the monsters, to the new it bags, to the beautiful and practical double faced straps, that can literally fit into any bag, not necessary a Fendi bag, which is a brilliant way to add live and colour to any old or even new bag, transform its look instantly.

I was confused between the new bags the (3 Jours), (by the way) and (dot com). My choice was the dot com bag since it is big and I find the bigger bags more practical for me, especially in the morning where I always stuff my bags with all day necessities. to match it I went to one of the bugs to be put as handle and chose a vibrant coloured double faced python strap, with pink backward side.

Also I chose the monster slippers, which I fall in love as soon as I glimpsed it, it is very practical to be worn in the mornings and it does look amazing with jeans or even with mornings abayas, also it looks so chic on the beach.

Take a look at the pieces I loved from the new collection.
