I am going to the beach with 3al Canvas

3al Canvas is the newest local brand to hit the Cairo fashion scene, it's a collaboration between three friends and partners, all are AUC art major graduates. The three girls wanted to do something with their art degree other than painting and showing their work off at art galleries, so they decided to reproduce their art onto fashionable daily products. They have just launched their first product, the beach totes. They picked the theme of fashion illustrations to create harmony in their first collection, the illustrations are originally painted by the all of the three girls on paper using watercolor, then the paintings are printed on fabric using silk screen printing

"We wanted to create something really high street, we will never over-charge our customers, so no high end products are in our future. Our mission is to fuse art with fashion in an affordable way" Says Asma El Husseini Campus magazine's ex-fashion editor and co- founder in 3al Canvas.

Their future plan is to keep on launching different products like T-shirts, cushions and frames.Their next product which is set to be launched soon, is going to be the beach mats...fashionable and with a nice twist." I will definitely be getting myself one of those gorgeous stuff.
