Alaa Balakhy, is a young blogger and designer from Jeddah. I was introduced to her blog one year ago. After graduation Alaa didn't want a 9 to 5 job, so she created a fabulous brand called "Fyunka". Fyunka is a line of contemporary totes, makeup bags and notebooks with an Arabic touch to it. On her bags you can find printed statements quotes from SATC, the devil wears Prada, etc...
Last week I received an invitation to attend the launch of Fyunka's SS'12 collection at Maison Bo concept store, which I will be going " By the well of Allah" and reporting live from their on my twitter account. I can't wait to get my hands on couple of things I have my eyes on, and post about it.
BTW for all my Egyptian ladies, Fyunka s going to be available n Cairo Soon. Did I get you excited ?
