9 products I regret buying

Who doesn't have at least five products on their vanity, that they don't use. A lot of time I got some stuff and end up not using them at all, whether they are makeup or beauty products or even clothing and accessories items. In this post I will take about some stuff  got and turned out to epic failure. in this post I don't mean to talk bad about some companies, I am just mentioning some things I got and didn't turn out to be good for me.

1- The Dolce & Gabbana perfume: For me this is the heaviest and most suffocating scent the whole wide world, as soon as I smell it, I gets allergies and my throat instantly blocks. You may ask me, so why did you get it, in the first place ? Well guys this is a lesson that teach you not to buy perfume before trying them on, one of my college friends recommended it to me and I let my daddy got it for me when he was abroad. Really perfume smell differently on different skins.  And surprisingly I love all the D&G perfumes except for this one.

2- MUFE gel liner: I was in a need of gel liner, I entered Sephora , and asked if they have the Bobbi Brown one" my favourite", the salesman answered: No, but we do have the MUFE one and it as good as the BB one.  I tried at the store and was amazing, same as BB, and even cheaper. I got and when I tried first time after this, I found out it's not a gel liner, it's a gel eye shadow, that can be used as eyeliner, anyway it was so dry and ashy. I though mine was ruined from heat or something, so I headed to the MUFE store to check f it was only mine which looked like this, but discovered that it's eventually by time dries up. I hate it.

3-Benefit's Moon beam high-lighter: definitely my mistake, I wanted the high beam high-lighter and it wasn't available. So I settled down for the low one.. and it just not for my skin tone at all.
4- MAC: foundation: impulsive purchase from Charles De Gaulle airport, I had some extra cash and some time waiting for my flight to Cairo, so what to do , what to do ? Ahh buy some makeup from the duty free shops. This foundation so heavy for me, thank God I don't need heavy foundation and it looks so fake on me, after this I knew for sure, foundation is not my thing, I am just sticking to my Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer.

5- Worst shampoo and conditioner, I don't have to say more.
6- Benefit's automatic eyeliner pencil: another impulsive purchase from Prague, Don't get me wrong I LOVE benefit cosmetics, it forms a big part of my makeup collection. so as I trust the brand, I didn't bother to try the eyeliner, I just asked the saleswoman for a black one from benefit. Well it turned out to be grey, not only t was super light, it broke on the first time I used. Just a waste of money !

7- MAC : Girl about town lipstick, pretty colour, but not for me. Makes me look, like we Egyptians say "wakla kalb".
8- Worst moisturizer ever, greasy, with almost zero percent hydrating effect. thumbs down

On the other hand the Cocoa butter one is the most amazing drug store moisturizer ever, can easily compete with the top brands in the body care business.

9- Eva Rose Water: My beautician advised me to use it as a substitute to the expensive toners, but it broke me down badly, however a lot of ladies swear by it.  guess you have to try to know if your skin will react to it or not.
