Mani Monday: French is back but with a twist

It has been awhile since last time I had french manicure, and I admit whenever I go to the nail spa and ask for a french manicure, the pedicurist succeed in convincing me to change my mind, and apply a funky colour instead, probably because it's easier for her to do. Last week I was at a nail bar, I saw that french is back but with twist, the white tip is no longer in, the white french tip is dethroned by colours, I can see the most popular colours are  black, gold and silver. my favourite is the nude nail with black french tip, other than that I guess I am not really ready to try, at least for now.
 I am sure that this nail trend will last for quite long time but it will never replace the classic simple and clean "neutral" french manicure.What do you guys think ?
