For their aim to correct misconceptions about Islam in the fashion world, and about modeling in the Muslim world, Lancome took Hanaa Ben Abdesslem, The 22 years old Tunisian runaway model as their first Muslim face, for their new campaign for the idole ultra 24 hrs foundation.
2011 was a pretty good year for Hanna, not only her country has entered a new era of freedom, but her career had a major shift, as she walked down the catwalk for Givenchy, Chanel, Oscar de la Renta and many more heavy fashion designers names.
Hanaa isn't just a fashion model but she is also a role model, she studied engineering, doesn't smoke or drink alcohol at all, eats carbs, as a Tunisian she can't give u p her love for couscous, beside all that Hanaa sponsors the Esmaani (hear me) a non- profit association for the deaf children in Lebanon.
