Lunch for Two and Half with the Entertainer
Let's have a talk from the heart today, let's discuss one of the working new wife/ mother is biggest burden. Which is what shall I cook today. For me having a small family, a full time job and freelancing career, can be a little tough, honestly it's very tough :)
So all the time I wish we could more out especially with the days I have meetings outside and have no time to go home and cook. But eating out a lot can ruin the budget especially when you are a young couple with kids and trying to save. That's why I was over the moon from happiness, when I got introduced to a very unique smart phone application called THE ENTERTAINER , that comes with the concept " Buy One Get One for Free".
The Entertainer is simply a smart phone application, that you download from your App.store and select the city you live in, for example they have a version for Jeddah, Riyadh, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I chose Jeddah, and then you pay a very affordable price, which is seriouslly nothing compared to what you get in return. Then voila, the application is unlocked and you get a huge number of free vouchers for upscale restaurants, fast food restaurants, spas, salons, kids activities centers, hotels, gyms and many more.
It presents a very selective fine places, that I love going to, and other great places I would love to explore. And their selection of hotels is unbelievable, from Egypt, to Dubai, to Hong kong to the Maldives. Where you pay for one night and get the next night for free,it's an application that makes you want to travel and enjoy this amazing unique offer.
Last week I had a big weekend lunch with my family at The Butcher Shop & Grill, one of the most famous grill houses in South Africa, that has a lot of branches in Dubai, and has recently opened in beautiful Jeddah. As it's one of our eatries we were thrilled to try it, and pay only for ONE meal, thanks to the entertainer.
Download it from your smart phone or use this link https://www.theentertainerme.com/ksa/

Estee Lauder ...Mystic Wood
On a one fine,I wake up to an amazing gift from Estee Lauder, a small box full of love. I opened the box quickly to find a cute small bottle of Estee Lauder's Mystic wood on a bed of beautiful roses petals.
The perfume was made especially for the Middle East, among a special oriental inspired collection. As you may read before in m posts, I always prefer light scents, but this one small bottle of perfume, changed me in just one spray. I swear it is one of the best perfumes or scents I have ever used, yes it's oriental, but it is not heavy at all, not like the other that suffocates you. It's a luxury perfume, the smells perfection with It has a mix of a lot of notes, mainly of roses, the queen of flowers. The Egyptian Jasmine Absolute in it adds luxurious sensuality and is blended with Mimosa Provence Absolute, Orris Morocco and Ylang for softness and passionate warmth.
The scent is so luxurious, that why I save it for really special outings. I spray it on the back om wrists, the back of my ears and the pulse points, and it stays for two days, and I am not exaggerating here. One thing I really love about the 50ml bottle, first it's so cute, second it's very handy, perfect for travel, and literally is the perfect perfume for your handbag.
This perfume has seriously captured both my heart and my nose, I will be repurchasing it over and over again. And as I told you before, for me perfumes are always attached with mental images, so this one reminds me of luxury, candles, chocolates and crystals.
Did you smell Mystic Wood before? if yes! leave a message below tell me how did you find it. And if you haven't head to the nearest perfume store and smell it, I know you will like it as I did.
Check and follow Estee Lauder Facebook page for the latest updates.

Love Since....Celebrate Valentine's with Azza Fahmy
V- day is so soon...I think you all know that, and no need for me to
tell you. but I thought to remind some guys out there...cough..... my
husband..... cough. And since I always make a wishlist and give to my
husband, so he can choose from on the "gift needed" occasions..I know I
sound mean, but he just love it when I made life easier for him, and
tell me what I really want, and sometimes from where to buy. Last week I
had to update my wishlist, as I spotted Azza Fahmy's 2014 Valentine's
collection.
Azza Fahmy celebrates 45 years of passion, with her latest Valentine's collection, designed by Amina Ghaly, designer at Azza Fahmy. This collection reflects an artistic bridge between modernity, uniting Azza Fahmy's classic elements with ultra contemporary finishes. All the collection is handmade with passion, more than one piece is inspired from the diamond shape, which for me represent the symbol of commitment hahaha.I loved the his and her matching pieces, and of course the matching necklace and men's keychain.
For more info, and to know the nearest branch to you visit www.azzafahmy.com... and by the way to all my khaligi readers, there is Azza Fahmy outlet in Bloomingdale's and in Riyadh as well.

Winter Skin Care from Lush
First congratulations to the the three winners of the Lush giveaway, I hope you are enjoying your gifts. Today I want to tell you about some Lush products that I have been using for over a month and I loved so much.
See I don't need to tell you how much skin gets dry in winter, we all know that. So I wanted to try some products especially designed for wintery weather. I got to try four different product from Lush's winter collection, 2 soaps, a body lotion and body butter.
Snow Fairy Sparkle:
This super cute massage bar is such an investment, it's not only unbelievably moisturizing massage bar, it also leaves a fabolous pinky colouron skin, so after rinsing it off, it gives a light pinkish kind of glow that stays all day long.
I use it as a body conditioner, so after I shower, I rub to m body, leave it for minutes, then rinse it. As I said at first it will stain your body pink, but washing it off will leave that irresistible glow. It has a candy/bubblegum smell to it, that as most of Lush products will make you wanna eat it :)
It's melts down so quickly which is good when using it on our skin, but a bit for storage, so better if you keep it in one of those Lush tin containers.
Orange soap:
This one of the most natural soap I have ever used, I literally feel like I am washing m face with fresh oranges. I love the smell of orange so much, and this soap is perfect for these cold winter morning, when you can't wake up at all, just wash our face with it, and it will you feel awake and fresh.
I also like the layer of dried oranges topping the soap bar.
Snowcake soap:
One of Lush's bestsellers, and one of my new favourite ones. I just love this soap, I swear I keep on going to the bathroom to wash my hands, just to smell it. It has the smell of both fresh roses and marzpian, oh la la... very soothing and moisturizing for winter, and the gold top layer keeps on remind me of the holiday season all year round.
Celebrate:
This body lotion has the most rich scent ever, it also have thin texture,non- greasy. Made with citrusy oils like lime and orange, with mix of very moisturizing cocoa butter and almond oil. What else could I ask for ?
I love to use it after showering and using snow fairy.
Golden Wonder:
This bath bomb I picked in my way out, I picked it honestly because I loved how it looked. I tried it one night I decided to take a long bath, which is very rare to happened when you have kids :) I broke it into four pieces which should be enough for 4 times. This bomb is not for short baths, you need to relax in an idulging bath to enjoy it. Inside there is pink, below and yellow colours that colour the water of your bath, and makes it full of golden glitter. So luxurious and relaxing.
I just love Lush, as you may notice, and I pay many many visits to the store, to discover more and more..so stay tuned for more Lush products review, I know you love Lush too :)

Stay Fit with Special K
New research released today by Special K reveals that ‘fat talk’ – the negative comments we make criticising our bodies and others’ – is wreaking havoc with our relationships. It's no secret that thinking positively is important to getting in shape, yet more than two thirds (70%) of British women admit they ‘fat talk’ and criticise their body with their partners at least once a day.
A third (37%) would be prepared to end a relationship over jibes directed at them by a partner, whilst more than half (54%) said they feel too insecure about their bodies to be intimate with partners who ‘fat talk’ incessantly. The study of 1,001 UK adults was commissioned by Special K to highlight the impact of size jibes and shift the conversation around weight to a more positive one.
The research revealed that celebrities can have a positive influence on our perception of body image. Adele, BeyoncĂ© and Kelly Brook are held up as the most inspirational women when it comes to banishing ‘fat talk’ and embracing a positive state of mind about their body shapes. Other celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and Karl Lagerfeld –who famously criticised Adele’s weight - were named by respondents as the most negative
Positivity Psychology Coach Miriam Akhtar explained the need to break the cycle of fat talk:“As many of us head into the New Year carrying a few extra pounds, it is natural to feel extra sensitive about our appearance. At this time of year it’s important to remind ourselves and our loved ones that a positive approach can pay dividends when it comes to getting in Social media was highlighted as helping ‘fat talk’ to thrive. Two thirds (63%) of Brits believe social networks exacerbate the problem, and one in five (22%) de-tag themselves in photos for fear of sizeist comments. Some Brits are embracing the #belfie however - a #selfie of the bottom popularized by Kim Kardashian - with a third (29%) prepared to post one free from “Our brains are naturally wired to focus more on the negative than the positive, so we need to work that bit harder to train our minds to appreciate our best assets”, Miriam continued. To help, Special K has commissioned Miriam to create a Positivity Plan which reveals the simple steps for a life free from negativity. Special K also offers a variety of delicious food options for a balanced diet including cereal, porridge, cereal bars and cracker crisps.
SPECIAL K POSITIVITY PLAN:
Developed by Miriam Akhtar, MSc in Applied Positive Psychology. We all know that having a positive mental attitude is beneficial for our well-being. It is all too easy, however, to allow negative thoughts to cloud our judgement. Here, acclaimed positivity expert Miriam Akhtar reveals the 10 simple steps for a healthy, happier state of mind free
1. Train your brain: Your brain has a negativity bias, so it’s crucial to focus on your positive assets– great sense of humour, lovely smile – to help you aim for success every day.
2. Stay kind: When you perform an act of kindness for someone, both you and the recipient feel good which leads to positivity bouncing back and forth between you.
3. Be an optimist: Recognise that temporary set backs are just that – temporary. Thinking this way helps build a more positive state of mind.
4. Think small: Build confidence by making small goals and recognizing every single
5. Live your life purpose: Look ahead and make plans. Making progress towards your vision will give you a sense of satisfaction and boost your positivity.
6. Get perspective: Think about life in more flexible terms. Negative beliefs can turn into monsters, so do your best to put them in perspective and think of what action you can
7. Cherish love: Love is the queen of positive emotions, but for a relationship to truly flourish you need a ratio of 5:1 positive to negative emotions. Boost your well-being by being as social as you can and nurturing your life-affirming relationships.
8. Thank-you Therapy: Take some time at the end of every day to think about what’s gone well, what’s good in your life and what you are grateful for.
9. Bring the Fun Factor: Do what you love - the fun, enjoyable and healthy things in life maximise the joy in your positivity machine.
10. Do it for you: Having positive motivations for success maximises your chances. ‘Intrinsic motivation’ is where you’re motivated to do something for its own sake and is more likely to work than an extrinsic motivation.
